Finishes Estimating
The most visible division to an owner — drywall, flooring, and paint quantities that make up the bulk of interior scope.
What We Take Off
- Gypsum board and metal stud framing
- Acoustic ceiling systems
- Flooring (tile, carpet, resilient, wood)
- Painting and wall coverings
- Specialty finishes
- Ceiling and wall assemblies
Works from whatever plans you have
Traditional 2D CAD drawings and PDF plan sets, or 3D BIM models — finishes quantities are taken off directly from your source files, cross-checked against the model where one exists, and delivered in the same itemized format either way.
Need the drawings themselves, not just a takeoff from them? See Drawing & Engineering Services.
Where finishes estimates commonly go wrong
Ceiling grid and drywall are usually priced by square footage, but soffits, bulkheads, and transitions add linear footage of trim and labor that a flat rate doesn't capture.
